Who Qualifies?
You qualify for Better Jobs Ontario if you either:
- have been laid-off and have not been working or are working a temporary job to cover costs
- have not been laid-off but have been unemployed for six months or longer and are part of a low-income household
You can still apply if you receive either:
- Employment Insurance (EI)
- Ontario Works (OW)
- Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

The aim is to engage residents through public consultation to share information, solicit constructive feedback and help guide future decision-making. Meetings are held on Fridays on a rotating schedule of Ward 3, 2, and 1 within designated Municipal Facilities.

Join the Cardinal Festival Committee in a Community Yard Sale!
This event will take place rain or shine
The deadline to add your address to the Yard Sale map is June 5th. This will allow time for our team to create a super handy map for the consumers to navigate. Our map will be available in digital and paper form. (Donations for paper and digital copies are appreciated but not required).
All proceeds help support future events like this one, Canada Day and Labour Day, put on by the Committee. We greatly appreciate the support we've had thus far and we just know this one is going to be a success and will get this little town buzzing!
No registration or fee is required.

Have you ever wanted to see what it takes to get the fair going? Join The Spencerville Agricultural Society and Volunteer. You don't have to do a lot but a little here and there and it will go a long way! Bring some friends and some fantastic ideas to help our fair be the best it's ever been!
We are looking for volunteers who are interested in helping our 168th Spencerville Fair. We currently are looking for help with the Junior Work, Friday Pony Horse Show, Parade, and more.
