This course provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. Standard First Aid incorporates all of Emergency First Aid and is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid, including legal implications of first aid treatment, spinal injuries, heat or cold injuries, bone and joint injuries, chest injuries, and medical emergencies. Includes CPR-C certification. The first aid program is not restricted to aquatic candidates; it will also benefit non-aquatic staff (camp, playground, maintenance, etc.) and the general public.
No prerequisites (recommend 12 years of age)
Course Dates:
- April 27th and 28th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the South Edwardsburgh Community Centre (24 Sutton Dr, Johnstown).
Total course fee is $140

The Spencerville Agricultural Society is proud to announce the return of our beloved Ladies’ Night fundraiser! The highly-anticipated wait for the return of this event was noted and we are doing it in style… groovey style.
Join us for a delicious Italian dinner with both meat and vegetarian options. We will have entertainment all night long! Starting with a silent auction with tonnes of items that you won’t want to leave without, a flower power-themed photo booth to commemorate your night out, a table decorating contest for you and your table to compete in, a raffle, and of course live music by the incredible Amanda Keeley!
This year's theme is ‘Flower Power’; you are welcome to interpret that however you want. 🌸🌼

Indoor pickleball
Starting Tuesday, April 23rd we will be offering indoor pickleball at the Spencerville Arena. We will have three courts and you can play doubles or singles. This program will be free to all and for those of all ages and skill levels. No registration required, we ask you to bring appropriate indoor footwear.
